She graduated from the University of Delaware in 1992 and has been in healthcare staffing for over 30 years, is an active Licensed Dental Hygienist with over 24 years of experience and is also a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) for the past 20 years.
